SOREMO is today the European leader in recycling and treatment of old car and truck engines.
This goods must necessarily be cleared and come from facilities approved by French Administration for the End-of-life vehicle dismantling.

The motors are classified in 5 category, depending on the content of aluminium.

Motors category N° 1:
Car engine with aluminium block.

Motors category N° 2:
Car engine with cast iron block with aluminium gear box AND aluminium cylinder head.

Motors category N° 3:
Car engine with cast iron block with aluminium gear box OR aluminium cylinder head.

Motors category N° 4:
Car engine with cast iron block neither gear box nor cylinder head.

Motors category N° 5:
Truck engine no exceeding 2.5 tonnes.
For all other type of motors, in particular boats or locomotives, a technical survey is an indispensable prerequisite.
